Boycott a go-go!
Here at wwbd, we often find that some things just annoy the holy living hell out of us.
Thing of the week that we find annoying and offensive: television commercials that take good songs, re-write the lyrics, the over-dub with them.
Exhibit A: Kraft “Crumbles”.
| Kraft, in their infinite wisdom, took a perfectly good song (EMF’s “Unbelievable”) and turned it into a horrid anthem for cheese bits entitled “Crumbelievable”. Dear mother of God… make it stop!
The worst part about it is, they even included closed captioning on the damn commercial, so hitting the mute button on the TV makes the damn lyrics appear. |
Fuckers! Boycott this shit and send them a message!
Exhibit B: Crystal Light “On the Go”
| Again, it’s the Kraft foods company to blame for this horrible diddy. They’ve taken KC and the Sunshine Band’s classic hit “Shake your booty, and modified it to “Shake your bottle”.
We could create a perpetual motion machine to provide an infinite amount of energy by tapping into KC rolling in his grave right now. |
For the love of all that’s good and pure… boycott this product… make the pain stop!
Hell… just boycott all of Kraft. Send them the message that destroying popular songs makes us physically ill… and people who are nauseous don’t want to eat or drink.

Ok first of all what freak of nature consumes this shit anyways? Are we so damn lazy we can’t crumble our own damn cheese these days or what? And Crytal Lite has this “Our powder mix CRYSTAL LIGHT contains aspartame. For freshest taste, beverages containing Aspartame sweetener should always be consumed within 5 days of preparing.” Aspartame METHANOL (AKA WOOD ALCOHOL/POISON) (10% OF ASPARTAME) mmmm yummy!Methanol breaks down into formic acid and formaldehyde in the body.Another yummy. So eat up, drink up, and leave the songs in tact. And for the love of god stay away from anything diet with Asparame in it, you will love a happier longer life.
1Not to be picky, but Harry Casey (a.k.a. KC) is still alive. The question is whether it was he or his label that are getting the money that Kraft paid to use the song?
